Frequently asked questions
Will I always get a motion file?
No. Some public notes expose only a still image. A motion file appears only if the real source is present and accessible; missing motion is never replaced with an invented animation.
Do RedNote share links work?
Official xhslink.com short links are resolved with security checks at every redirect. If the destination requires a login or a fresh share token, copy a new public share link and try again.
How are Live Photos saved?
When both components are available, the image and its associated motion video are saved separately. This does not guarantee that your device will import them as a native Live Photo.
